The Little Blue Coop Therapeutic Farm is a place of healing and growth. Our farm offers therapeutic and recreational animal encounters, social-emotional learning opportunities, and a mobile petting zoo for your next event. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where visitors can connect with nature and be inspired through the healing power of animals.
Meet the Owner

Ellen Boucher (she/her) is a trained social worker, mother, and proud owner of The Little Blue Coop. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University ('17) and has dedicated her career to ameliorating the health and wellbeing of children and families. Ellen has held various roles with Nova Scotia's Department of Community Services, Halifax Regional Centre for Education, Phoenix Youth Programs, Shelter Nova Scotia, and the IWK Health Centre.
When she's not in the barn or caring for her two children, Ellen enjoys reading psychological thrillers, going for long walks, and advocating for social justice.
